Questions and public debates

We process the questions, follow-ups, article links, and images you submit to generate discussions. Questions, extracted text, generated responses, and citations may be saved so discussions can be reopened and shared. Debates can be viewed without signing in through public links and may appear in discovery features such as Trending.

Do not submit secrets, confidential documents, or sensitive personal information. Using the service without an account does not make your submissions private.

AI processing and images

FindTruth sends discussion inputs and relevant context to AI providers, including Anthropic, Google, and xAI, to produce responses. Images are sent to Google’s image-reading model to extract text. FindTruth processes uploaded image bytes in memory rather than saving the original image to disk; extracted text and image hashes may be retained and used in discussions.

These providers process information under their own terms and policies. FindTruth’s handling of an uploaded image does not determine how a provider handles it.

Optional accounts and history

If you sign in, we store account information such as your email address, name and profile picture when supplied by your sign-in provider, login identifiers, sessions, and your email-update preference. Email-code sign-in, when available, also processes your email address and sign-in delivery records.

Signed-out History is stored in your browser. When you sign in, that history is transferred to your account, and signed-in history is stored on the server for access across devices. Browser storage may temporarily hold history awaiting a successful transfer.

Cookies, analytics, and service records

We use cookies for sign-in, anonymous voting, and request protection, and browser storage for history and display preferences. Service records can include IP addresses, request details, errors, and usage information used to operate the site, limit abuse, and manage capacity.

The production site uses Google Analytics to understand page visits and interactions, such as opening debates, voting, following sources, and sharing. Events can include debate identifiers and, for some follow-up interactions, question text. Google Analytics uses cookies and receives browser and usage information. Your browser may also contact third parties to load fonts, images, or sign-in tools. Opening a source or using an external sharing service brings you under that service’s privacy practices.

How information is used and shared

The contact form stores your name (if provided), email address, message, submission time, and IP address on our server for handling requests and preventing abuse. Contact messages are not published as debates or sent to AI providers. When email delivery is enabled, your contact details and message are also sent through our email provider to the FindTruth team. Account deletion does not automatically remove contact messages.

We use information to provide discussions, save history, authenticate accounts, support voting, understand usage, and respond to support requests. Relevant information is processed by the hosting, AI, analytics, authentication, and email services that make those features work. Public debate content is accessible to people who open its link.

Email updates are optional; you can change that preference on the Account page. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to address fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

Retention and your choices

Saved debates and extracted text remain available for replay and sharing; they do not automatically expire when you clear History. We keep account and operational records to support the service and its security. This preview does not promise a single deletion deadline for every type of record.

You can remove entries or clear History, clear this site’s browser storage, change your email-update preference, or delete your signed-in account from Account. Account deletion removes the account, sessions, and synced history; underlying debates and anonymous votes remain, and some abuse-prevention records may remain in pseudonymized form.

You can manage cookies and storage in your browser and use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. Blocking cookies or storage can affect sign-in, voting, and history.

For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests, use the contact form. We may need to verify your request. Available rights depend on applicable law; clearing browser data alone does not remove information already sent to our servers or other providers.
